Supporting a child with unique learning, developmental, or behavioral needs can sometimes feel overwhelming. To help, we've gathered a collection of trusted organizations and resources that provide information, guidance, advocacy, training, and support for families.

The organizations listed below are well-established resources that many families have found helpful. While these organizations are independent of our school district, we believe they offer valuable information and services that can help you better understand your child's needs, navigate available supports, and connect with additional resources in our community.

Statewide · free for parents Indiana's official Parent Training and Information Center. Free 1:1 phone help understanding the IEP process, preparing for case conferences, and resolving disagreements.

Indiana · paid & pro bono Independent special-education advocates who attend case conferences with families and help interpret evaluation reports.

Year-round sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. No cost to participate.
